Use factory specifications as the standard in all repair, service, and customization work. Provide excellent customer service for all customers whether external and internal, specifically offering dependable vehicle service. Receive service assignments from the service writer or service manager. Have the repair work finished within the allotted time. Set goals, develop skills and constantly increase efficiency skill level. Submit your request parts as soon as it is determined what is required for a particular job. Keep the service writer or service manger informed of any supplemental work that may be required or of any delays to estimated completion time as you make those determinations so the customer can receive up to date information. Aid service writer as needed to write work orders, conduct test rides, interact with the customer, or in any other way you are able to guarantee customer satisfaction. Maintain a clean, efficient work area and assist in keeping the shop neat and organized. Make sure the proper paperwork is completed and filed after every job completion. Keep your technical qualifications current by finishing any required training programs. Take care that the vehicle is cleaner when the job is completed than when the customer dropped it off. Make each job thorough and complete to reduce return repairs. If the vehicle should be returned for additional work complete it quickly, correctly and cheerfully.

Job-Specific Expectations

Be directly responsible for selling vehicles at dealership gross profit, volume and customer satisfaction standards, as set at the sole discretion of the dealership.

Coordinate with the sales manager to set and meet new and used sales quotas. Meet the profit margin goals for vehicle sales.

Be polite and friendly and greet customers promptly. Consistently follow the outlined sales process.

Utilize floor time effectively in meeting the customers needs and soliciting sales.

Determine each customer’s vehicle needs by asking questions and listening.

Demonstrate and test drive vehicles.

Verify that customers are qualified for their wants, needs, and ability to buy.

Maintain current knowledge and familiarity with new products, features, accessories, etc., and their benefits to customers. Maintain an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction.

Perform pre-delivery inspection and road test before delivery to customer.

Deliver vehicles to customers after purchase. This process ensures that the customer understands the vehicle’s operating features, warranty and paperwork, and it lays the foundation for customer loyalty.

Utilize the delivery of any new or used vehicle to create an event that will facilitate customer loyalty to the dealership.Understand equity and values, and be able to explain depreciation to customer.

Conduct telephone transactions courteously and promptly.

Utilize a consistent quotation process for purchases, trade-ins, and vehicle sales.

Move and arrange display vehicles on showroom and on lot as directed by management.

Deal with customer complaints in a sensible manner by showing empathy and a pleasant attitude to show our commitment to excellent customer service and to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Job Title:   Payroll Clerk

 

Position Summary: The Payroll Clerk is accountable for collecting timekeeping information, incorporating a variety of deductions into periodic payroll, and issuing pay and pay-related information to employees.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Must be able to follow detailed instructions and communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Must be organized and able to work to specified deadlines.
  • Able to work on computer(s) for long periods of time in an office environment.
  • Must exhibit patience and tact in dealing with employees.
  • Review and analyze actions at the end of each day, week, month, and year to determine how to better utilize time and plans more effectively.
  • Understand the accounting/payroll terminology and methodology.

  • Update and process payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, garnishments, and job title and department/divisions transfers.
  • Prepares reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability and nontaxable wages.
  • Obtain supervisor approval for overtime and time card discrepancies. And, resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
  • Print and issue pay checks when applicable.
  • Process and close periodic payrolls.
  • Calculate and process commissions for applicable employees.
  • Process and issue annual W-2 forms to employees.
  • Ability to completed additional duties and projects as assigned.
